If you really want to see results it is very important to change the types of foods you are consuming.  Avoid foods that are processed. If you can't read the ingredients, don't eat it! Your diet should consist of as many "live" foods as possible, ie fresh fruits and vegetables. If you must buy packaged foods read the label and try to buy organic products. ALWAYS read the labels.

My Favorite Healthy Sweet!

Eating healthy really can be fun. I'm trying desperately to convince my husband and other family members that eating clean, gluten free foods will not kill them AND does not taste horrible. I like sweets and one of my favorite brands is Enjoy Life Foods! OMG! This company creates some of the softest, most decadent cookies/snacks I've ever tasted. All gluten-free. All clean. Packed with fiber AND protein. All good!!! Go out and get a box or two or three! :)

Me too!! But unfortunately after a very recent unexpected surgery I would kill for normal.  No workouts. No fat-burning-kick-my-butt-I'm-gonna-be-so-dang-hot-sweat-sessions in two months. Sigh!  But you my little lovelies, you must press on. Do not give up!! When you hit the gym today do your workout for me!! 'Cause  I'm rooting for ya!

Lunch is served!

See, clean eating can be fun and delicious. Organic whole wheat waffles and clean oven baked chicken topped with a few blueberries.  I added some flax oil to the mix for a healthy boost. The waffles so good I ate the without any sweet stuff.

Gluten Free Mocha Brownies Recipe

Mid-day smoothie! Greek yogurt, handful of blueberries, one banana, a dash of ginger, a splash of Flax Seed Oil and some almond milk. Yummy!

Eating healthy is just as important as excercise. Start your day with oatmeal add in a little greek yogurt and blueberries.  If you need a little more "sweet" drizzle a little agave nectar. This tiny meal, packed with fiber and protein, gives your body a boost by lowering the bad cholestorol, reducing free radicals and aiding in reducing belly fat and it feels yummy in your tummy!
